Activating QR Codes Feature for Organizations

  1. Access the Wovenmedia Admin and navigate to the "Organization Settings."
  2. Scroll down to the "Permissions" section for a particular organization. 
  3. Look for the "Allow QR Code" toggle button. To enable this feature, toggle it to the "On" position. 
  4. Save changes to apply the QR Code activation feature to the organization. 

 

Setting Up QR Code Activation for Playlists

  1. Start by accessing the playlists section. You can either create a new playlist or use an existing one. 
  2. In the left menu, scroll down and select "Dynamic QR Code." 
  3. This action will open up new options for you. You can now choose the position of the QR code on the screen. Options include top left, top right, bottom left, or bottom right. Additionally, you can add a link to a website URL. When customers scan the QR code with their mobile devices, they will be directed to this specified website.Activate QR Code.gif
  4. In the top menu, you'll find a new tab called "QR Content." Here, you can choose the content that will be activated after scanning the QR code. The selected content will start playing and then sync back into the rest of the playlist. If this content is synchronized across multiple screens, all content will continue to be synchronized.
  5. Hover over this content and open the properties settings. If the playlist or this file has any overlays, you can deselect them in this menu to ensure they don't appear on top of this piece of content. 
  6. You have the option to target the content to specific locations or the entire network. Selecting "skip targeting" will remove any location-specific targeting, ensuring that the content displays everywhere.

Configure QR Code Activation on Selected Devices

  1. Begin by Navigate to the devices page within the portal. 
  2. To enable the QR code functionality on specific devices, you can either select devices individually or choose multiple devices simultaneously. To select multiple devices, use the CTL+Click (CMD+Click).  
    After making your selections, click "Edit." 
  3. This will open the properties for the selected devices. Look for the "Play QR Code" option and set it to "Yes." Activating this feature ensures that only the chosen devices display the QR Code while maintaining synchronization across all screens. 
  4. Don't forget to save or publish the changes to update the devices with the newly configured QR Code functionality.Devices QR Code.gif
