How to create a playlist

  1. Navigate to the Playlist page and click the “+” button to create a new playlist.

  2. This will open a new screen where you can add a title to your playlist.

  3. Select playlist visibility. Choose between Public (available to add to channels) and Private (can be saved as a draft but not added to channels or displayed live on screens).

  4. Choose how you’d like the playlist to run as (playlist type):

    1. Regular Playlist: Manually add required content.

    2. Autogenerated Playlist: Content is added automatically and generated based on selected filters with options to set update frequency and the number of videos. Learn more about autogenerated playlists here. 

    3. Campaign Playlists: Manage playlists through Campaign Manager. This option might not be displayed based on system configurations and user profiles. Learn more about campaign playlists here.

  5. Add playlist metadata such as keywords (comma-separated), categories, available dates for the playlist, and relevant notes.

  6. Select a layout template from the left sidebar. Choose between full-screen layouts for videos or images or more complex designs with different zones. Create Playlists - 1.png

  7. Choose the playlist background color using the selector. This background color will be displayed momentarily, for a second or less, during content loading or in case of connection issues.   8. Access available content (videos, images, groups) by clicking on the right sidebar. Search for content directly using the search bar or use the filters available (e.g., categories like entertainment, education, news) to locate specific content.

  9. Drag and drop the selected content into the playlist. Create Playlists - 3 Add Content to Playlist.gif

  10. You can adjust the sequence of content by dragging and dropping them into the desired position within the list and continue to add content.

  11. Preview individual videos and the entire playlist by clicking the play button on each video or at the top of the playlist screen.

  12. Monitor the total length of your playlist displayed in the top section to track your runtime.  Create Playlists - 4 Playlist Order.gif

  13. Save or Publish your changes and the playlist will be ready to add to your channel.
