Use Case: Include personalized local team information, showcase their team logo and featured product using an overlay with added assets. Example
- Step 1: Upload the video or image you'd like to use as a base or create an overlay from scratch. Learn how to create an overlay
-
Step 2: Upload the images for each location. Click The “+ Add” button at the top right corner, and either browse your files or directly drag and drop them in the dialog box.
You can add metadata to the images, such as categories or keywords, to help you find them later during content upload.-
-
Individual manual input: Manually add information to each file by clicking the Add Metadata icon next to each file
-
Bulk Import Metadata for Each File: Click on the “Add Metadata” button at the top, and choose:
- Manual Input: Add the same information to all files at once.
- Export Template: Download the template with all the files being imported and adjust your columns to match this format.
- Bulk Import: Import the spreadsheet file back and update the information for each file.
Once you are ready, select “Start Upload”.

-
-
Step 3: After uploading the images, add them to a group to use in the overlay.
Select the images you want to use, right click, choose “Add To…”, and then “Group”. Select from a previously created group or create a new one directly.
Go to the Groups tab and access the one you created. Use the grouped images in your overlay design and include targeting for each piece.
Download the targeting attributes template in the top right section, add the necessary information, and re-import it into the group.
Note: You can create a Group with no images first if you don’t have the images ready. It will still work for adding it to an overlay design.
-
Step 4: Add a list.
- Head to the Admin section and create a new List (e.g., NFL Caps). Add fields such as Team name, Description, and Price. If we make them Editable, we allow them to be different by location.
- Go to Manage Items, where we can add the base information (e.g., '47 Clean Up Cap in the description), and Save.
- To manage the different locations, go to Batch Changes and select Export the List template from the top.
- In the template, add the list of locations and associated data, such as team names, and prices. Save the file once it's ready.
Note: You need to copy and paste the code for the system to recognize the information. -
Select Import List of Locations, choose the file, confirm, and the system will start uploading the information.
Once all changes are made, remember to Save and Publish your List.
-
Step 5: Putting everything together. Go to the video or image you want to use and select Edit Overlay.
-
- To add your images, click the Add button, select Images, then choose Groups, and select the one you’ll be using.
Note: Initially, you might see only one image. Enter Preview mode and select a different location to view other targeted images.
- To add text, click the Add button, and select Zone. On the left, click Source, and choose the list you created for this project.
