This guide shows you how to add overlays—such as text or QR codes—to certain items in your campaign playlist.

1. Go to the Playlist section. Use an existing campaign playlist or create a new one. This will serve as the base for adding an overlay and assigning your campaign items.
2. To create an overlay for this playlist, click the overlay icon at the bottom of the screen.
   Add the content you’d like to use, such as text or a QR code images, and save your changes.
3. Open “Playlist Detail” from the left panel, scroll down and look for “Content Overlay” and “Playlist Overlay” options.
   Only “Content Overlay” is active by default to ensure images added as an overlay display on your screens. You will need to activate the “Playlist Overlay” setting if you’d want it to appear on your playlist.
   Make sure to Save or Publish the playlist to apply the changes.
   Note: Overlays won’t display over WovenManager content due to licensing restrictions.
   
   

4. In the Campaign Manager view, create a new campaign or select an existing one associated with your playlist.

5. When adding new items to the campaign, you will notice that the Playlist Overlay is turned off by default, indicating the overlay will not be shown unless it is activated for the specific content.
   

6. To preview the full playlist:

   1. Navigate to the “Rundown” page where you can see the full playlist. Click the preview button at the bottom of the page to check the overlay settings per item are as desired.

   2. Navigate to the “Playlist” page and click the preview button for the playlist you are working on. It will show each item with or without the overlay as selected in the campaign attributes.
